Here's to a new year

Christmas was really relaxing this time around, surprisingly.  We opted to stay home and spend it at home with just our little family and it went pretty well. The girls made out like bandits and I enjoyed myself. Prime rib is one of the best things you can eat.. Soo good!

Lilah is now talking so much and Grace is six months old. She's growing and is generally happier than she was before.

I met some people here in La Grande, a mama who cloth diapers her two little girls. She is really nice and her kids are adorable.  I also met my second cousin( I think  not sure... could be something else...) She is awesome too. She is a nurse in town.

oh man.

It has been ages and a day. So much has happened. We had our little bundle of Joy on 7/3/09. Her name is Grace. She is an amazing little girl. We also moved to the middle of nowhere because Brian got a job promotion. I don't like the town.

My little girl is turning 2 tomorrow. I am in shock and denial. No way my tiny 8 lb 2 ounce baby girl is now 2. No way at all. She is an amazing little girl who floors me everyday. Her thing right now is saying No to everything.

The little beanstalk.

Lilah is growing up so much. She is picking up signs like no other. She can sign ready, bed and momma now. I am SO proud. She understands what they mean and is starting to climb. Of course, when she makes it she is petrified. She half cries and half laughs. She also gives me the terrified eyes and begs for me to come to her rescue. Silly girl.

Her favorite pastime is tormenting the cat. She likes to sit, pick and pull on her. Poor kitty. She laughs if the cat scratches her and runs away. She's turning into a sociopath and does not listen to her Momma when it comes to the cat. She will learn, eventually.

Nope, I won't dewclaw.

Please pass me the pickles.

I am almost 17 weeks pregnant. I am definitely feeling a lot better. I am still losing weight, I have decided not to stress about it too much. My neighbor (with whom I share a wall with) is pregnant too. What's even more weird is that we share the same due date. I am pretty sure she will go first, especially since she had both of her children early. I had Lilah on her due date.

We are venturing into the world of cloth diapers. I love it so far. I definitely plan on using it for the new addition too.

I can't wait till I find out what this mystery baby is! It is all I think about lately.

Another baby on the way!

I figure that my family does not know about this blog yet... Heck, most everyone does not with the exception of my girls. I'm 9 weeks pregnant today. This pregnancy is definitely kicking my butt. The pregnancy with Lilah was an absolute dream.

Yeah, not the case with this one. I have gotten almost every symptom on the planet and am so sick most days. I have to take Reglan to make sure I do not throw up everything. Some days I do not need it which is super nice but it does not happen very often. This baby ended me up in the ER on Thanksgiving Day because I was so dehydrated and dizzy. My midwife urged me to go in and I did. I had a lot of fluid pumped in me and a lot of anti-nausea meds. I hope all this subsides by 20 weeks.

Sincerely hope! Lilah is going to be a big sister!! They are going to be a little bit over 21 months apart and we could not be any happier.

Busy days.

Today was crazy! I watched a friend's little girl and took her to a mutal friend's party. It was fun and I had no time to be bored. That is how I like it. We had a ton of fun today.

Tomorrow we have to go to the store, another birthday party, Zoo Lights and then Brian's work party. I will make sure to post pictures of Zoo lights and of the work party. Lilah will be looking kind of festive. Not too crazy, just a red sweater and maybe a cute clip. I like reasons to dress her up.
